Evening and Weekend Food and Beverage Assistants – Part-time and Full-time shift hours are available to staff the ‘Coffee Stop’ at Deer Park School working flexibly between the hours of 3.30pm to 9.30pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 6.00pm on weekends. £10.50 per hour plus holiday pay.

We are seeking Food and Beverage Assistants to join us at our brand-new ‘Coffee Stop’ at Deer Park School. As the provision grows and expands there could also be future opportunities to work across the Trust at our other school sites around Hedge End.
As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will have the ability to cope in a busy environment, work well under pressure, and deal calmly with unexpected situations. You will be an enthusiastic team player and demonstrate a passion for hospitality, putting the customer at the heart of what you do. With a willingness to learn, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and impeccable personal presentation.
Duties will include preparing food and drinks for users of our school facilities, together with general cleaning duties and washing up. If working at the start or end of a shift you will be responsible for locking up the ‘Coffee Stop’ and must be able to show initiative. Catering experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The successful candidate will ideally have the Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, although training is available if necessary.
